Has church become a place of gossip and socialization rather than serious worship?

$grant$ asked the question: Its seems like it in a lot of churchs. Are there any denominations that have mostly serious congregations?

Is it correct to say that there is one Lord, one faith, and one baptism (therefore, one church)?
