The 2001 edition of World Christian Encyclopedia estimates that there are 33,830 Christian denominations?
PicassoInActions asked the question:
So the question is how would a person choose the denomination? Of cause most will say open your heard and Jesus will guide you but it seems that every one of Cristian did just that and some how they got guided to all those different denominations.
Does Jesus conbfuses ppl on purpose? ANd if Not than how would you choose?
WHile some differences are minors , some are very big and contreverses. For Example , Ortodox Cristian Church which is one of the bigest ( Catolics don’t come even close to thier number ( this is taken from World Christian Encyclopedia )) states that Hell is not ethernal while Catolics and some others state that Hell is ethernal.
WHile its easier to say that all are about Body of Jesus but most Cristians concider other cristians not true belivers and therefore they will go to hell.
So for the novice it would be hard not to make a mistake isn’t?
And i strongly doubth that any Cristian would think he is not teh true one.
Therefore GOD and Sunday’s exist.

First of all the Roman Catholic Church is the largest denomination in the world. Now for your question. I suggest you investigate the religions you think you might be interested in and then give it some serious thought. A decision like that should not be taken lightly.
I think I get your point but I’m not sure. Your grammar and spelling make that very painful to read.
People choose their denomination based first of all on which demonination agrees the most with that person’s belief (I think people don’t change their belief because of their pastor’s direction) and of course they may follow their family’s tradition.
None of this has anything to do with any sort of truth about where you will spend eternity though.
Well its simple really… every denomination is one mans opinion of something he doesnt agree with that the denomination before him thinks. I am a Christian but not part of any denomination. I also dont sware I know the Truth, the whole Truth and nothing but the Truth either. As long as I live I will continue to learn. Most religious leaders, Pastors and Priests wont admit they could be wrong about something. Thats a HUMAN trait, it has nothing to do with the Bible and it’s teachings.
