Good observation. Now you know why I say most ppl are hell bound and don’t even know it.

Because people allow their independant beliefs to affect what the Bible says. How many denomination believe in one thing that another doesn’t even think about when it’s clearly in the Bible?

Because whenever man is involved things get messed up. The church though is not a denomination. The church is all Christians regardless of denomination.

anyone who has accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior are part of that one true Church. Its not a matter of which fellowship group you attend.

We are all human and that part of us will cause divisions this side of Heaven. Someday we will unite in perfect harmony when we are all with the Lord.

What you’ll find is that most of th denominations differ only on minor points such as how one is to be baptized. In the end most believe in the major aspects of the faith, and it seems that different denominations have focused on particular aspects of the suffering of man, attempting to aid where possible. So it certainly isn’t a bad thing to have the different denominations.

it’s caused by personal interpretation of the bible.

When the first split continued from the Catholic Church - the reformers couldn’t agree on themselves so they each made their own denominations. Every denomination views themselves as the “fullest to Christ.” If they didn’t, then the adherent would not be apart of that denomination.

So that would be YOUR interpretation of it. And yet there are many others that would disagree.

Why would god write a book that we should all supposedly follow if it was so difficult to translate and interpret?

Xianity is most profitable for the people at the top of the organization. There are more top people to rake in money for personal enrichment if you have more organizations.

Cos nobody is sure about Christianity, so it based on best guess.

You said it yourself. There are two kinds of Christians: those who practice the faith handed down by the apostles, and those who practice a faith derived from a private interpretation of the Bible.

    1. Satan has a test for Christians, and
2 it is in the Bible (not scripture). Test; T (accept his assertion) or F (reject his assertion) type question.

Actually, there is currently more than 1 Satan assertion; but that can hopefully get souls thinking about it presenty on Yahoo; to God’s glory.

Each one comes from a background of taking something out of scripture, and highlighting it and building a belief on what the “leader” has found in scripture, that they feel must be emphasized.. like the 7th. Day Adventist, take a DAY and have built on that . Baptists, it was on Babtisims originally,
Pentacostals, on speaking in tongues, and on it goes.

because since the reformation people beleive that they can interprete the scriptures, each to his own, thats why there are 33,000 differing denominations all of which are in error, since the catholic church is the only true church and teaches only one truth as revealed by Jesus and taught in his church.
